Honors Biology Notebook Organization

  1. Syllabus for the course needs to be inserted in the front of your Notebook.
     
  2. Students must maintain ALL course material into a 3 ring binder, divided into the following sections:

  1. Biological Molecules
  2. Cellular Organelles
  3. Cellular Transport
  4. Energy
  5. Ecology
  6. Evolution
  7. DNA and Protein Synthesis
  8. Cell Division
  9. Heredity
     
3. Each section of your notebook must include a Table of Contents.  Table of Content templates for each section is provided here. Please look at the individual sheets within the excel file.


4. Each page in your notebook must include the following:
    Name
    Date
    Title
    Block
    Page Number


5.Every item that is placed inside your notebook must be logged into the Table of Contents by Date, Title, and Entry number


Notebook checks will be conducted on a weekly basis, unannounced.  It is imperative that students update their notebook on a daily basis.
